Of the two new headphones that Audio Technica was showing at the 122nd AES convention one featured some very interesting technology not seen on a large scale before it's release in January. The ATH-ANC7 headphones use active noise cancelling to reduce bleed from outside their seal. This means that there is a microphone on the outside of the headphones that feeds the drivers out of phase material to destructively interfere with the outside noise. The ATHM-50 was also on display. This set is a high end monitor made for the studio. Check out the video to find out more.
