Nothing on youtube at the moment for this headphone so thought i'd post one. I plan to dub over an audio review in the next few weeks. For those that cannot wait i have these comments: 1) the sound is detailed and agile/transparent. 2) The highs for me are too sibilant. The sss's and cymbals in dance music can be too much for me. Though i would say having auditioned the Grado GS1000i they are much more sibilant (they are very 'musical' though - good 'groove'.) 3) Bass is nice, not much groove to it, too thin for me but better i would say than HD800 which i auditioned at the same time as the Grado's. 3) Mids perfect (apart from sibilance). Transparent. Can hear into the recording and the spoken word nicely. 4)Build quality is 8.5/10. The part where the headband attaches to the ear cup supports is a little wobbly for my liking. Ear pads very nice, comfort for me very good and ear cup sits nicely against the head (unlike Audio-Technica W15000 which have no pivoting). My head is relatively small. 5) The carry case is probably the best i've seen on a high end headphone. Why? It's actually useful! You could use this thing all the time unlike those huge suitcases that come with other phones which you never use. To summarise the sound similar to HD800 in overall character but for me too lifeless, not enough emotion, sibilant highs (though others might be less averse to it - it's not so bad). I don't ENJOY the music as much even compared to the Bose compact over-ear headphones ...
